Why I want to meet Chrystal Kaminski
She seems interesting. I like her choices for people she wants to meet, her descriptions, she has been to a place I want to go and I to one of hers. I just wanna okay!

My friends at the Better Breakbeat Bureau and Aeon Alliance booked Monk for a show February 16th 2007 at a club I have frequented for years, Club Anything in Milwaukee, WI.
It was my first time seeing Monk and he put on an amazing show, the place was packed wall to wall with people. Everyone was dancing and getting crazy drunk (save for me on the drinking). I got some real good pictures of the night and a video at the very end.
My friend Nicole and I got a picture together with him. He was very shy and reserved, but when he gets on the stage he rocks it like no other. I can’t believe he played “Smack That” by Akon, it’s actually my ring tone! I went NUTS when he played it, it was a great mix.
I really hope to see him again because he appeals to many kinds of people due to his music consisiting of a wide variety of genres. That means everyone can come out and play no matter what kinf of music they are into.
You can’t really stick Monk into one slot, so to speak. That’s how I like it.
My friend Josh (Hedroom Productions) and a crew from Green Bay held a show at the Town Line pub and Grill and booked John B. for the headliner.
It was a small and intimate show I must say…no more than sixty people came out. However, it WAS on a Thursday in Green Bay so even THAT was a good turn out.
I thought the show went well, it was my first time hearing a set from John, at all actually. I had such a good time dancing and taking lots of colorful pictures and I even got a couple of videos. Everyone I talked to had a good time as well. Everyone was so faded….not to mention I was completely booming from the mushrooms.
At the end of the night my friend Danielle was sitting and talking to John and called me over to them. I ended up sitting on John’s lap and getting a few pictures with him and talking to him. He is an interesting character, animated and fun. Witty to the fourth power and totally comfortable with himself.
He told me I had the most gorgeous teeth he had ever seen. I thought he had the craziest hair I had ever seen. All in all the night ended well, I think the night was more than well documented.
Fun stuff I tell you ;)
I got a chance to see a more intimate side of Donovan, aside from his music which is definetly great. He was at the David Lynch weekend, formally titled “Lynch Weekend” in Iowa, spring of 2006.
The focus of the weekend was to alert people to the interesting and intricate act of practicing “Trancendental Meditation” and to better educate people about quantam physics. The weekend was lead by the director David Lynch and Donovan himself was there to answer any question that people had for him as well as David.
I learned that Donovan is a person of peace and harmony, his wife was wonderful as well, she accompanied him to the three day seminar. He was very personable and a foreaching soul, I saw that he wants love in the world like we all do…and his music attests to the fact. He is highly spiritual and has many accomplishments that date back to the sixties, when is career began.
Ultimately, I like him because he seems real and just an all-around loveable and peaceful person. I wish that I could meet more people that have that calm, cool and honest air about them because it is very rare when I do.
I work and am close friends with the Better Breakbeat Bureau and we have a resident night at Room 434 on Sundays in Milwaukee, WI. We got Reid booked with Keith MacKenzie and Mc Flipside. She did an AMAZING show….my very first time seeing her actually, she was perfect in her mixing and track selections were delectable. I rocked out at this intimate gathering like there was no tomorrow, as I always do.
After the show I was on my way out and she spotted me and came up to me and said “You have been rocking out since like, we GOT here!, thank you SO much!”. I told her she was amazing and gave her a hug. Her personality is sweet and she is very personable and professional. I am very proud to have met her aquaintance and hope to see this breakbeat phenom again in the future.
I would love to meet her because I watched her grow up, in the media, but still, I watched as she grew and as her parents and family went through hardships after hardships.
Every time I look at her, I see him. I wonder if when she marries…will she keep his name.
She has his eyes, smile and hair. I would love to see her for who SHE is, and not who her parents are. I want to know her for Frances. Her birthday is August 18th and she has just recently turned 14 I believe. I can’t believe how big she is now.
I think she has an old soul, and that she is haunted by a legacy of someone she may or may not remember. When I really look in her eyes, in any picture…I see straight through to her soul. There is something in her eyes that tell me she is far wiser than most her age, and that she’s onto us..
Michelle and I have known each other for a long time now, probably like three years. I met her through my old best friend, Jeffy. I actually met and talked to her for the first time at Mad Planet in 2003.
We got to know eachother gradually through the years I have known her. We have been through some weird shit together, mostly because of one man.
She is a mother of two and I love her children. I come and hang out with her even if she has them all day. She is someone I like being around to talk to and share stories with. She does not mind sharing stories about what has made her who she is today.
I am happy that I have gotten to know her.
I met Voltaire Saturday February 19th, 2005, he performed at the Cafe Lura in Chicago and I had no idea I was even going to see him there. I went with two friends of mine to see the band “Rachel’s Surrender” and they were opening for him.
My friend T.J. pointed him out before he went on stage, he was eating a little dinner. We went over and talked to him for a while, joked around and had a really good time. He has a great sense of humor and is quite flirty and personable. I asked him questions about his heritage and such, home life…etc. He was honest and very witty.
After the show everyone went to Neo, a gothy/industrial club in Chicago. I saw Voltaire there as well, he told me I was a really good dancer :), I talked to him for a while before we left, I walked out with him and we talked about travelling and stardom and such. His life is very busy, and I found out that he has a son.
Overall the experience was great, getting to hear his music for the first time and meeting him in person.
The last time I saw Chrystal Kaminski she impressed both my person and myself on how well she eats. We met up at Mayfair Mall to see “Clerks II” (good movie) and she told me that she doesn’t eat popcorn or drink soda. Highly respectible in a world of “do it now” “do it quick” people. She is a breathe of fresh air. Based on the things she was talking about before the movie it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure out that Chrystal has done her homework, and she knows what she is talking about.
We most definately have to get together again in the near future.
Last time I saw this guy was at the movie Clerks II. It was a fucking hilarious movie…I think our whole group liked it. I was there with Krystal-Laura, Aron and…of course..the lovely William Parker.
I think that was the first time we actually conversed for more than like a minute or two (excluding online comments to each other). I love his sense of humor and he’s fun to be around. Also extremely intelligent.
One day I think we should all hang out again :)
